METAL EYEWEAR MANUFACTURING

Metal Eyewear
Manufacturing

Precision metal frame production for eyewear brands, from component machining and welding to polishing, plating, assembly and quality control.

METAL FRAME PRODUCTION

Metal Eyewear Manufacturing Capabilities

From precision component processing to final frame assembly, we support metal eyewear development for OEM, ODM and private label projects with controlled production at each stage.

01

Precision Machining

Frame components, bridge parts and structural details are processed to meet design and dimensional requirements.

02

Welding & Assembly

Rims, bridges, endpieces, temples and other metal components are joined and assembled with attention to alignment and fit.

03

Surface Finishing

Multi-stage polishing prepares metal surfaces for cleaner, more consistent plating and final finishing.

04

Plating & Color Finishes

Plating colors and surface finishes can be developed to match the design direction and requirements of each collection.

05

Frame Adjustment

Frame alignment, temple movement and overall geometry are checked and adjusted during the assembly process.

06

Quality Control

In-process and final inspections cover dimensions, alignment, surface quality, hinge function and overall workmanship.

How We Manufacture Metal Eyewear

From precision component cutting and welding to polishing, plating, assembly and final inspection, each stage is controlled to support consistent OEM and ODM metal eyewear production.

Precision laser cutting for metal eyewear frame components at Timing Optical 01

Precision Laser Cutting

Metal components are precision cut according to the frame design, creating the foundation for accurate dimensions and consistent production.

Metal eyewear temple wire cutting process at Timing Optical 02

Temple Wire Cutting

Metal temple components are cut and shaped to the required dimensions before entering the following forming and assembly processes.

Laser spot welding of metal eyewear frame components 03

Laser Spot Welding

Frame components are joined using controlled laser spot welding to achieve precise connections while maintaining the intended frame structure.

Tumbling process for metal eyewear frames 04

Tumbling

Semi-finished metal components undergo tumbling to smooth surfaces and edges before more detailed manual finishing.

Precision hand polishing of metal eyewear before plating 05

Precision Polishing

Skilled operators refine the metal surface and critical details before plating, helping create a cleaner and more consistent final finish.

Semi-finished metal eyewear frame inspection before IP plating 06

Semi-Finished Inspection

Before plating, semi-finished frames are checked for workmanship, surface condition, alignment and structural consistency.

IP plating process for metal eyewear frames 07

IP Plating

Approved semi-finished frames proceed to IP plating, where the specified metal finish and color are applied according to the project requirements.

Automatic lens cutting for metal eyewear assembly 08

Lens Cutting

Lenses are cut to match the required frame shape and dimensions before fitting and final frame assembly.

Metal eyewear frame adjustment and final assembly 09

Frame Adjustment & Assembly

Frames are assembled and carefully adjusted for alignment, temple balance, hinge movement and overall fit before final quality inspection.

Final quality control inspection of finished metal eyewear 10

Final Quality Control

Finished eyewear undergoes final inspection for appearance, alignment, hinge operation, lens fitting and overall workmanship before packing.

QUALITY CONTROL

Quality Control for Consistent Metal Eyewear

Metal eyewear requires control beyond component production. Critical details are checked throughout manufacturing to improve consistency between approved samples and bulk production.

01

Welding & Joint Consistency

Welding points around bridges, rims, endpieces and other structural connections are checked for positioning, consistency and workmanship.

Joint positioning Welding consistency Structural alignment
02

Surface & Plating Quality

Surface condition is inspected before plating, while plated frames are checked for finish consistency, visible defects and overall appearance.

Surface preparation Finish consistency Color appearance
03

Frame Alignment & Hinge Function

Frame balance, temple position and hinge movement are checked and adjusted to maintain consistent opening, closing and overall frame geometry.

Frame alignment Temple balance Hinge movement
04

Final Appearance & Lens Fitting

Finished eyewear is inspected for lens fitting, surface condition, frame shape and overall workmanship before approved products proceed to packing.

QC

Quality Control Throughout Production

Inspection is not limited to the final stage. Semi-finished frames are checked before IP plating so surface, alignment and workmanship issues can be corrected before finishing. Final QC is completed after assembly and frame adjustment.
